Spring Scouting for Food

The 2018 Scouting for Food event will be held April 28, 2018.

Scouting for Food is our annual community service project that is led by Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, and Venturing Scouts covering the entire Chief Black Dog District.  This year the collection day for the Scouting For Food campaign will be on Saturday, April 28, 2018.

We will be staffing the following two Food Shelves this Saturday from 10:00 am to roughly 2:00 pm

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 13901 Fairview Drive, Burnsville, MN 55337

Open Door Pantry, 3904 Cedar Grove Parkway, Egan, MN 55112

At these locations we will perform the food intake, recording of the pounds of food collected, the unit numbers, number of youth, number of adults, and service hours.  If you have made arrangements to drop off at a different food shelf, we ask that you forward this information to Paul Mahowald (CBD Activities Chairperson) at: PAMaho5729@aol.com

Your help in this effort is truly appreciated by those who use the food shelves in their time of need.

Thanks,

Helen and Dave Lockwood
